Pool Maintenance
Wiring
The wiring is implemented by an assembly agency or by a worker qualified under the Directive 50/1978 Sb. Upon installation, the following ČSN standards shall be followed: 33 2000-4-41, 33 2000-5-52, 33 2000-5-54, 33 2000-7-702, 330 2000-6-61, EN 60439, 36 0600-2-1 and related standards.
- pool with basic technology – pool equipped with filtration (or lighting and counterflow): the wiring for such pool can be implemented by one’s own supplier company under the above-mentioned requirements
- heated pool (or with the pool water treatment system, dehumidifier, etc.): due to the complexity, we recommend inviting a specialist to implement the wiring for such equipped pool, i.e. specialist for wiring, revisions and maintenance service, Mr. Kristek, phone: +420 606 904 633. Attention: In the case of such wiring, it is necessary to contact Mr. Kristek prior to stretching the cables
Pool Coping (see drawings)
- if the pool top-finish is a coping rim with tiles along the pool, finish the concrete ring beam so that the selected tiles will be just below the coping rim (see drawing)
- if the pool is finished with a concrete collar, finish the concrete ring beam at the same level as the top rim of the pool Set the spout of the collar approx. 5 mm forward from the pool wall and glue it with an outdoor tile adhesive. Point it with silicone joint cement (see drawing). Apply Repesil to the concrete pool copings (repelling water and dirt). Do not apply the product by a brush but spray it.
Water Treatment
The pool on its own does not ensure uninterrupted bathing and pool fun. It is necessary to properly take care of the pool water. Our company would therefore like to offer you all other necessary accessories which will help you to maintain the pool water not only crystal-clear but sanitary safe and free of bacteria. Use of individual chemical types and testers evaluating their effectiveness.
Pool Winterisation
The pool shall be filled up over the winter season. Drain the water to only reach 20 cm under the skimmer and close the inlet jets using lids. Open the pipe valves, loosen the screws, and open the drain valves on the pump, filter, heater, etc. Drain water from the skimmer (if the filtration is not inclined and the water drains off by gravity). Disassemble the ladder, treat the water with winterisation chemicals, fit the pool and the skimmer with winter tubes and cover the pool with a tarp.
